Treatment Standards

Treatment Standards are regulations adopted and implemented by individual States for the proper inspection, identification, and control of wood destroying organisms. These standards will typically include requirements such as licensing of applicators, training of technicians, record keeping, and application of approved pesticides. Most of these standards have changed over the years as the technology of controlling wood destroying organism has evolved.
